Disappointed

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now and went tonight for the first time. I am disappointed in the food and the service. We only saw our waitress at the beginning and end of our meal and I spent a great deal of the time thirsty. The food was very ordinary. It was ok, but certainly not worthy of a $12 meal, more like $6. I was even disappointed in the water as it had a funky taste. The atmosphere is much more casual than I expected. Its almost like a diner/fast food atmosphere. I hope your experience is better than mine!

fun little hole-in-the-wall

Perfect for family owned, hole-in-the-wall dining, which we happen to love. Went with my husband (who can be a little picky) and my 6 yr old and we all really liked what we ordered. Huge portions and great service.

Lots of fun, great service, adaquate food

I can't understand the guy who made the 2 star review. The sauce does not taste like BBQ. Pizza is really good, pasta very okay; meatball and sausage sandwiches really good. Their bread is wonderful and we usually buy and freeze several loaves. Yum! Atmosphere is great with photos of all the celebraties, wait staff is wonderful and this restaurant knows more about making and serving real Italian more than most restaurants of its type in San Antonio. I consider myself an Italian chef, you can find my "Italian Food Mood" recipes at www.mooneyland-dot-com, and once you make and taste those recipes, you'll know that I know what I'm talking about.
