horrible!!!!

we rented toobs from here, he charged us for 3 toobs and we only wanted 2, told us since he already ran the credit card that there wasnt anything he could do when we pointed it out, he was obvioulsy drunk, we gave him our keys and got our toobs, it wasnt until we had stood there for 15 minutes and started walking to the shoot, since noone offered us a shuttle, that they came and asked if we wanted a ride, when we got back from the river, he refused to give us our keys, stating that we never gave them to him. locked out of our car in the rain we argued with a drunk man, we finally gave up and used our spare. rude, drunk, stupid....we will never be back

Funny, never had a problem

WOW, we have been renting from Felger's for years and have never run into ANY problems. As a matter of fact my family and I go there because we enjoy the service and how they treat us! When our kids were small he always offered life jackets, his staff help with picking out tubes (that never lost their air), and carried the tubes and our cooler to the bus. We never had any rude behavior at Felgers, and plan to be there this Monday to rent again (just the wife and I for a fun day). Everyone has their days, but I can tell you that the past 15 years or so I have not seen any of these behaviors (well, he does yell but if you are from the east coast that is nothing new!). Regardless of where you get your tubes, just remember to have a fun float and be kind on the river! :)

Rude Drunk Owner

We have been customers of Felger's for about 6 months we went there almost every weekend. We sent 10-15 customers there every weekend. I have seen customers get yelled at, cussed out and treated very bad! This weekend my husband parked there, bought some drinks then walked my son and his friend down to the river (son is to young to float the tube chutes), Jay Felger, the owner, called my husband and yelled that he could not park there because he did not rent a tube. This would not have been a big deal if he would have had any sort of respect for us and the business we have given him! He is always getting drunk during business hours, yells at customers, yells at his employees (including his wife and daughters). We will no longer go there or recomend any one else to go there either! They also run out of tubes and shut the rental down whenever they feel like it; the tubes they do have are small and sometimes they run out of air on the river. There are plenty of places to rent from on the Comal River that respects their customers.
