Ravishing Ruby's. Ruby's was a great place to eat. I loved what we were served on. It was very old fashion and awesome. I really liked the barbecue sause and I loved how we could buy it there. I really liked the creamed corn and the other food was really good. I think that Rudy's is a great restruant.

Good BBQ. I have to agree with one of the other reviews, this is a very good BBQ, it is typical of the Central Texas BBQs in its format, food, ambiance. It would be a good place for children. But I rather think that for someone with more developed tastes in BBQ, the ones in Luling or Lockhart would be a better experience and value for the money. Rudy's is a bit on the high side, and they do seem to be a bit over-staffed. Still, they offer a lean cut of brisket that you don't often get at BBQs (which seems slightly ironic) but a nice option nevertheless.

Had Better for the money.. The ribs and brisket are very tasty. However, you can get more value for your money elsewhere.
