Ok, so here's the scoop. From the first 5 min. Being in the toit, I felt like I had been a regular there for the past 30 yrs.. Everyone in there is down home folks. Paul (shaggy), David, Fran, Ashley, & Tina, are all hella wait staff. Ya better take care of em! Its become my second, I mean first home since back N.B.. After the first visit, they have had my drink ready before I get bellied up to the bar, now that's some personalized svc. Try gettin that anywhere else. See ya there.

Relaxed, Friendly, No BullSh*t.
I would recommend searching for "Hoity Toit Texas" on: maps.google (doesn't allow links, sorry) and then read the review I wrote.
A chill bar with high quality cooooold cheap beer and everything is quality from pool tables to TV to the stuff on the walls. Fran is the owner and her two college aged children are very involved bar tenders.
Customers are great. Easy to make friends. Have manners because this family only tolerates grown-up attitudes.
Check it out for sure.

Awesome!!!.
Really cool place. Family owned friendly atmosphere. Coldest beer in town period. Cheap pool and free shuffleboard. This is as good as it gets.

This place is a Texas legend!.
This place is a Texas legend. The coldest, best-tasting beer money can buy. We frequent this place several times each year during our annual trek to New Braunfels.
Fran, EVERYBODY'S godmother - What can you say, I bet she has enough stories to write a mini series. Then there is Bonnie. I'd buy a shirt off her back any day!
Country music, pool tables, darts, shuffleboard and peanuts (& peanuts & peanuts). Tip the cute little wait staff girls well and they will keep the cold beers coming!
"You can't get there from here without a six pack!" - Hoity Toit .
See you guys in August. Did I mention Bonnie?

Greetings from the Spawn of Boffo de Lakadeux.
I have yet to go here but my daddy was awful friendly with the proprietor, Texas Fran. As legend has it, he was greatly responsible for the artifacts at the Hoity Toit. Haven't met Fran but if she's okay in my book if daddy liked her! If you do visit be sure to tell Texas Fran that Boffo de lakadeux' kids say howdy.

Down the street from Schlitterbaun Water Park, NB.
Newbraunfels is best known for it's annual 'willkomen' octoberfest, and also for one of TX's most famous waterparks, who would have know that this small, discreet, home-town tavern, errr, I mean beer joint, would become famous someday. Famous in so many ways that comes complete with an unusual collection of bar-keepsakes. If you're in town, check it out, both locals and out-of-towners enjoy the cool air conditioning and friendly atmosphere...
