When it comes to boating Canyon Lake Marina is THE place to go. We go to the Lake 8 to 10 times a year. This place has the best customer service and the friendliest staff. They offer several types of boats for rentals. We always take out the ski boats for fun. We always have a great time so I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to enjoy a day on the water.

My husband and i have visited Canyon Lake at least 6 times-each time has been a pleasant experience- we have a jet-ski, he really enjoys the lake- but this last time he received a ticket for passing through the no wake area- We both think he should have had a warning, instead of getting a ticket, since we did not even know about this no wake area, he tried telling the police man, but to no avail.

• Pros: pretty scenery, nice, clean area, enough police around
• Cons: not enough shade, not enough tables
