yummy to the tummy. Lan's is one of my favorite spots to induldge in vietnamese spring rolls, and pho'. They have an extensive menu and to finish off your palate I'd recommend the sticky rice with ice cream Yum !

Curry addicts unite--then relish this fix.. Attention, Curry Junkies!
A recent study indicated that some Londoners are addicted to curry. The study found that subjects displayed classic signs of addiction, including a quickened pulse rate, when in the proximity of the spice. Similarly afflicted San Antonians can find their fixes at Lan's Indochine, a restaurant in a converted gas station. Large windows decorated with colorful, Asian-themed paintings help transform the surroundings. Be warned--the restrooms are outside.

The Fix
The menu offers a large variety of delicacies from Thailand, China and Vietnam in addition to a few Japanese selections. Curry addicts can choose from a number of dishes that mix green, red or yellow curries with a choice of meats or tofu and a variety of vegetables and spices. The kang kheo wan, with its curry-and-coconut-infused bamboo shoots, made one diner start craving another hit before leaving. Most of the herbs and spices used at Lan's are grown by the owner, ensuring fresh, crisp flavors.
