Complete diasappointment.
Eddies Taco House opened up a new location on Thousand Oaks at Wetmore. I have visited there 3 times hoping for a different result each time as we do not have much around here in the area of Mexican food, but for the most part I have been disappointed. The sausage and egg taco I ordered turned out to be weenie and egg and when I returned it I was given something else that was supposed to be sausage however it was like a cheap imitation of real sausage the machacado taco had alot of egg not enough onions and chiles and they were tight with the actual machacado. The enchiladas were great - I got the ones with carne guidsada on them- but the beans taste like either canned or freeze-dried, and the rice was really bad no flavor and almost like it was either dried out or not cooked. My husband had a carne guisada taco that was very good. The mango margarita I think was lacking some alcohol. Also our food took 45 minutes to come out. Prices are average. Service friendly but not knowledgeable about menu items and a little bit of language barrier. And the cheese on the nachos tasted like velveeta-not appropriate for true mexican food. We wanted this place to be good sooo badly but so far no such luck. At most this is an upgraded Taco Cabana with a bar. We will have to keep making the drive across town to Los Barrios.

Highly enjoyable tacos!!!.
If you're looking for a dining experience with ambience, Eddie's isn't it. But, if you're looking for really good breakfast tacos at a reasonable price, Eddie's hits the mark. The tacos are very full. The tortillas are good, and the drive-thru is great if you're in a hurry.
