A wrap-around porch sets the stage for a hospitable stay.. The Scene
Set in the King William Historic District near the River Walk, this 1886 five-room inn blends right into its living-museum location. Adjacent to the main inn, the Carriage House offers two mini-suites with gardens filled with colorful flowers. Trolley service adds to the mood of yesteryear, whisking visitors to The Alamo, as well as downtown's Alamodome, Spanish Governor's Palace and Mexican market.

The Details
Victorian-style furniture lends a traditional and elegant air to the inn's guest rooms. All boast elaborately carved queen-sized beds and are abloom with floral designs. The sun porch serves as the setting for complimentary chocolates, cookies and tea, as well as a gourmet breakfast featuring two courses and a breakfast dessert.
