Build a seriously hefty hamburger at this fast food joint with a diner-like atmosphere.. In Short
Red-shirted, black-bibbed attendants serve grilled burgers made from freshly ground beef, turkey, salmon, and even ostrich sandwiched by buns that are baked in-house daily. Hungry patrons gussy up the meat at a condiment bar stocked with lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos and a variety of sauces, then take a seat at tables topped with a black-and-white checkered tablecloths. Sides of cole slaw, baked beans and wedge-shaped fries complete the picture.

Don't expect it fast: expect it GOOD!. My wife and I visited Fuddruckers again. We don't have them where we live, so it was anticipated. It was noon on a busy Festival day and I'd read the review warning about slow service, but our order was taken quickly and then we waited. And waited. And ordered a shake and onion rings and *got* them. And still waited. And we got pretty steamed since employees were carefully avoiding allowing anyone to catch their eye and find out where their order was. So I was ready to hate the place.

But then our burgers arrived. I got the half-pound Buffalo burger and dressed it out just the way I like: plenty of onion, plus crisp lettuce and the salsa topping.

And I took a bite.

And. Wow. It just made me love Fuddruckers again.

If you want FAST, then go to McDonalds. They're right next door.

And to be fair, it was only about 30 minutes to get our food at Fuddrucker's - not really that long a wait if you're expecting it. And the TASTE was just wonderful - and well worth the wait.

So. Go. And order your favorite. And expect it to take a half-hour to deliver your specialty.

Then bite in and remember why sometimes it's better to NOT be in a hurry.

Friendly staff. Clean place. Nice atmosphere. Great food. I might come back to San Antonio just for the burgers.

slow service! Average/below average burger. We waited 10 minutes in line (no exaggeration!) to place the order. One of the cash register was down so maybe that was the excuse but not very many people head of us so it didn't make sense to me at all. It was around 2:00PM so it wasn't that busy. Took 20+ minutes (again no exaggeration!!) to get our food and the couple who placed the order right before us finished their food and left before we got our burgers and fries. Maybe this place used to be really good but obviously something happened. I honestly cannot recommend this place to anyone until they fix their issues.

Only one in Chula Vista. Where I am from, there is only on in the entire metropotin area. But here we are fortunate enough to have two. A bit expensive for burgers, but you definatly get for what you pay for. But remember, can't by alcohal before 1200PM, believe me I was disappointed.

The F Place. Quaint, burgers are just like you like them, you make them and that's why! Great cookies, pies and margaritas.

Great Burger/Great Toppings. Freshest, juiciest burger made out of quality meat. Just order the "Regular in the 1/2 or 1/3 pound size (whichever fits your appitite) then fill up on the "fillings". The Jalapina Cheese is espacially tasty.

Too Big to Eat With Hands!. I like Fuddruckers,and my title says it all. It's like a hamburger with a salad bar, just pile on the toppings. Only like I said, I have use a knife and fork to eat it, unless you like to wear your food. A whole meal in a burger. Great.

fabalicious. The food is fabalicious, always fresh toppings. Fresh cooked beef and french fries. Crisp, refreshing drinks. The best burger joint around.

Fuddelicous. Absolutely, without a doubt the BEST cheeseburger I have ever had the pleasure to put in my mouth. I've eaten hamburgers anywhere from McDonalds to Chili's but none of them compare to the triple cheese burger at Fuddrucker's. Not only do I get choose what I want on burger but the meat is cooked to my specifications and is out of this world delicous.

where's the beef. The beef is here!! I was visiting my son and he took us here to eat. I have NEVER ate better beef on a burger. It was clean the service was great and as I said the taste was the best I've ever ate. I wish we had one in our home town or at Wichita. I would drive the hour just to eat there! Thanks for the eating enjoyment!!!!!
