More reatail shop than art space, the Casa Salazar Art Gallery is located next to the entrance of the Majestic Theatre and across the street from the Gunter Hotel, making it the perfect place to stop when you're downtown. The two-room gallery features work by native San Antonian and long-time fixture in the arts community, Fred Turner whose paintings are influenced by expressionism and Fauvism. Collections by Armon Brow, a contemporary painter, and photographer Henry Benson's collection of Beatle's photos make this gallery one-of-a-kind. Casa Salazar also sells handmade Mexican furniture and accessories.
