Worst service EVER, Food Just as Bad. In a word: OVER-RATED. Very disappointing. Long wait for table (over an hour) followed by laughably poor service and more long waits for a warm tossed salad and and cold steak. Upon being seated, after a few minutes, a waiter began by taking our drink order. Apparently took it all the way to Mexico, because I still haven't gotten that margarita.

An entree for one of the guys in our group was pretty much raw and bloody despite the order for a medium steak. It was sent back to the grill, and NEVER brought back to the table. We waited for 20 - 30 minutes more, and the steak was never returned. In short, what a waste of 2.5 hours. Skip this dive.

Ribs were yum and service was great. Skipped the steak to try the ribs and wasn't disappointed. Rib sauce is sweeter than I've had before, but still go. And lots of it. I could barely get through 1/2 of the portion of ribs, when normally I can finish the whole thing at other restaurants. Our server was definitely the highlight. She was friendly, efficient and professional. it's amazing how hard those qualities are to find in one server. I would eat there again and try the steak next time.

Really horrible experience. Dull, average food and horrible service. The bottom line is: even if the food were better, I wouldn't go back. The service was atrocious. We went on a slow Wednesday night. Seated promptly. The temperature was absolutely way too hot. Was the AC broken? No music playing, so every noise from the kitchen was perfectly audible. We watched a nearby couple get up and leave due to the lousy service. It took forever for us to get every service: long time to get our order, long time to bring water, long time to bring bread, etc). The meal took about 2 hours, and we were exasperated. The waiter was very undertrained and overworked. He got lots of stuff wrong. He gave us the very briefest of attention and essentially threw the food at us as he ran by. The food was average for a chain (think Longhorn, Outback, etc). OK if that's what you want, but there are better places nearby (try Dolores del Rio!). Very average margarita. I won't be going back.

Great Steak. Went with a group of 20 and the service was great. I would recomend everyone try this stake place. Thanks Texas Land and Cattle.

Outstanding Rib Eye steak. This restarant is fantastic. Steaks (esp the Rib Eye) are awesome. Careful as the medium can be a little too rare for most people's tastes.

Looking Forward To a Family Friendly Environment. I have never been to TXLC but have heard everyone rave about not only the food but the service as well. As

far as the reviews go it seems that everyone feels the same!!!!!!!!! I have three

children and was glad to see that TXLC does offer a "family-friendly" environment. I usually choose to dine

at restaurants with that type of environment more often. The instant offers on this site are great as well. I

am looking forward to dining there with my family and i cannot wait to write another review after i

have!!

I enjoy steaks that are cooked t o perfection and it seems as though that is what is waiting for me. Along

with the great service that the reviews keep mentioning this is going to be a great dining

experience!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish i had heard of this website before to read reviews on restaurants before we actually went out to

them.

Texas Land & Cattle Steakhouse. We really enjoyed the food and the service was great. The steaks were served just to our liking. It was our first time to eat there and we have eaten there several times since. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Can't wait to return. I went to this reataurant a couple of years ago while attending a convention. I enjoyed it so much that I went back the next night! I am returning to San Antonio, again for a convention, and can't wait to return. It is a casual reataurant with a LOT of people. The service was great and the menu is superb. Don't fill up on the appetizers or you won't have room for their super steak and loaded potato!

Awesome food!. We love Ta Land and Cattle. The service had always been exemplary and the bread is some of the best sourdough I have ever tasted. I would recommend t even to a vegetarian - just for the bread!
