The Scene
The dining equivalent of the Texas souvenir store or an evening at the Rodeo, TXLC has found the Texas angle and is working it to the hilt. Branding irons and hefty logs decorate the interior; a massive cattle herder mural covers the back wall. Even the menu reflects Lone Star cuisine with noticeable departures from other steak house's list of side orders; TXLC will gladly give you enchiladas in place of the standard baked potato. Just remember to bring a big appetite and leave the vegetarian at home.
The Food
The portions are positively gargantuan. Once in a blue moon is often enough to stuff your face with the hardy fare of thick sirloins, rib-eyes and filets--all of which can be ordered with four plump shrimp, a mere garnish to the real meat lovers who populate these tables.

Went with a group of 20 and the service was great. I would recomend everyone try this stake place. Thanks Texas Land and Cattle.

This restarant is fantastic. Steaks (esp the Rib Eye) are awesome. Careful as the medium can be a little too rare for most people's tastes.
