The Landing stands alone as the one place on the Riverwalk where live music means New Orleans-style swing and jazz. Jim Cullum Jr. and the renowned troupe of veteran performers, the Jim Cullum Jazz Band, perform regularly. The historic preservation extends beyond the music to the menu, with a dish called tamara, a meatless pâté made of bread crumbs, which originated at the legendary local French restaurant La Louisianne.
