Durty Nelly's DIRTY Manners, very nasty to patrons. This is the only establishment on the River Walk that I would recommend to stay away from. Terrible service, and a piano player who is the absolute worst. Save your money and your time and patronize other establishments that are customer friendly rather than completely nasty to paying customers. Horrible music- piano player has terrible humor ! Definitely not like other Durty Nelly's that are fun and worth the money. Rest of River Walk is fantastic and REAL Texans are a pleasure. Complete disgrace for all of San Antonio and its beautiful and fun River Walk.…
Durty Nelly's is DIRTY. This place is packed and extremely hard to get a drink. It has to be over capacity at times and it is so hard to walk arounf the bar without bumping into people and getting a drink spilled on you. The smoke is so bad you feel like you are getting lung cancer.…
Steer clear of this place. This place was a HUGE disapointment! We went in and there were only about 10 others in the place.Three waiters walked by us and did not seem concerned about us.We sat there for about 20 minutes and we were never asked for an order. The floor was littered with peanut debris .There was also a BIG sign that says "No Cigar Smoking". You let people throw crap on the floor and smoke nasty ass cigarettes??? But no cigars. You sure wont have to worry about me visiting this place again.I didnt want to give this place any stars but it wouldnt let me.…
Be Careful!.
We love the idea of a piano pub. Just be careful of when you visit. We have visited several times a year for the past 10 years. In the early years the piano players didn't change much. It seems
over the past three years they keep changing piano players (makes you wonder why?).
Some of the piano players are more risque than the other ones. We have NO problem when songs or jokes have sexual innuendos but when they are blunt and disgusting and then you throw in some cursing the piano player has crossed the line.
Calling beforehand to see whose playing. Avoid going when Keith is playing.
And the Guiness flows freely here so try it - it won't be staggnant like other places.…
big let down. We came from out of town and went because it was St. Patrick's Day. Smelled like poop-can't imagine anyone actually eating here-especially since the menu I saw listed $15 for a burger! We just wanted to sing one song with the piano player...which we did as we drank overpriced, weak drinks. Loved the handlebar mustach on the waiter! Sorry, that wasn't enough to get over the smell of feces.…
