worst service ever - incredibly horrible. the receptionist ladies all give you a bored look - they ould not care less. Melissa rather took another bite in her sandwich, than answer my question and just looked at me, shrugging her shoulders What I dared to confront her with: I had explicitely asked for the highest floor - they gave me a room on the fourth - which is the bottom floor I was told by the bored receptionist, that no other room was available - "you have to say that when booking" - well- I have: booked in November 2010 !!! but the worst: breakfast Carl, the slowest and most hopeless and helpless person I have ever seen, plus staff who gather and chat....incredible I had a voucher for many options - he kept bringing the stupid menu and I had to virtually beg for each item. There was no yoghurt the first two mornings, then I had to beg for refills. The first breakfast took 45 minutes - not for me to eat, for these people to make and to bring One of the chatting staf apparently is the supervisor: a darkhaired young lady - very incompetent, very chatty, did not even look at me - I was only the guest... I am surprised to read that they have financial troubles (see: article by By Scott Huddleston in the mySA), as it is very expensive and the staff apparently very cheap and untrained. The only ones who are friendly and competent: the cleaning ladies ! reception and restaurant and management i.e.: the directors and supervisors: please exchange, as incompetence rains down from top to bottom. By the way, it was shocking to learn, that that idiotically green building actually turned out to be my hotel - it looks like is run : bad !!! free WiFi: yes - if you are prepared to sit in the bathroom - the only place it worked. Complained at the reception, but see above: they just give you that all bored look.... The worst hotel ever, the worst service I have ever experienced in the US. Staff who are so not interested: it must be a piece of cake to get a job in San Antonio. On the other hand: why don't they hires.o. decent ?

Great hotel BUT... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at goo.gl/FPxYD They have some of the best hotel deals on the web!

Life Saver. I wanted to see San Antonio and be near to the Riverwalk. The hotel was chosen at random from the u/k. It was an excellent choice and I stayed for 6 nights. The reception staff were extremely helpful, the room was more than adequate,clean with very good maid service. The bathroom facilities were also of a good standard...

Shocker. The building itself looks very old and rundown, but the rooms are exquisite. I loved the soft fluffy pillows and the flat screen tv. I asked if they had a microwave in the hotel and they brought us up one! The rooms are spacious and the breakfast was just what we liked coffee, bagels and cereal.

Very friendly people.... We stayed at this hotel for fiesta. It was perfect the service was great. The girl at the front desk was very friendly. . Very friendly people willing to make your stay very comfortable.

This hotel scored excellent on all counts. For my husband and I this hotel scored excellent on all counts - the lobby area, the breakfast area and the bedroom/bathroom were spotless. The room we had (king with sofabed and balcony) was a very good size, had a comfortable bed, was well furnished and everything was in working order.

Better than I expected.. Having made our arrangements on the internet, one is never quite sure how the facility will live up to it's online persona. I am happy to say it was everything it claimed to be and better than I expected. The staff was lovely and friendly, everyone from the front desk to the maintenance crew greeted me each time

greeted us with a friendly smile, cookies and water. Your wonderful staff; Yuli, Ricardo, and the other staff at the front desk as well as your painters and maid service were extremely helpful. The second we got in the door, Yuli greeted us with a friendly smile, cookies and water; which we could not believe, because no one at the first class hotels did any of that for us..

Great place. Great place, loved the fact that the parking is only $12. per day and we can come in&out as many times as we want. Our friends are staying at a diff. hotel here downtown, and their parking is $28. per day........crazy. Riverwalk Plaza is incredibly close to the Riverwalk, very nice staff, rooms are the most comfortable beds
