I would stay there again.... My room was clean and comfortable (no bedbugs!). The staff was friendly and professional. Didn't like having to pay $12.00 a day for parking, but I live near Chicago and they are just as bad for parking fees (if not worse). Liked the pool area and the cafe where you could get a decent cup of coffee in the morning (had to pay for it of course, but worth it). Not a long walk to get the Riverwalk areas. All in all a great trip. Good weather, good food at the area restuarants, and the Fiesta activities made our week a fun time...I would stay there again...

Thank you to all the friendly staff.. My husband and I had a wonderful stay during fiesta. Right from late check in due to flight delays through to checkout, we had a memorable stay. This charming historic hotel is close to all the major sites and the riverwalk. We could walk everywhere. We even spent an evening in the bar and met really interesting fellow travellers with whom we visited a deer ranch.

The rooms look new and are well equipped with all modern amenities. Unfortunately, room service was not available the one night we stayed in. The front desk manager was more than obliging to order in for us.

Thank you to all the friendly staff. We shall be back with our family soon.

A lot better than expected!. After searching and searching for the perfect room for our anniversary/birthday night of romance I decided to go with this place. After booking the room I then thought I should check reviews. I was so nervous about the stay after reading the reviews. However, I kept the reservation and tge room was a lot better than expected! I've already booked my room there for NYE!!!

Very clean and comfortable. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights during the Thanksgiving holiday. The room was beautiful. The bathroom was very clean with a beautiful decor. Our bedroom was extremely cozy with nice sized flat screen tv on the wall. Very clean and comfortable. Awesome location for all your Riverwalk travels.

Thank You. Our company held a professional staff development workshop for educators here. The prices were exceptionally reasonable. It was a delightful experience, and we are planning to return for our five-day Summer Institute in June.

We were looking for value and quality; while this was not a five-star hotel, our expectations were exceeded.

We were very impressed with the quality of everything, from the professional and prompt service to the food and beverage, to the Internet speed and the wonderful boardroom. Our small group had a wonderful time!

The Monterrey Room was a great place to just relax; it was huge, comfortable and very quiet, with beautiful, soothing music. They have a lending library and a grand piano as well!

The board room was large, with very high ceilings and one wall was a floor to ceiling library. The brick and wood materials were reminiscent of Old World architecture, and gave the room a pleasant ambiance. One end of the room was enormous windows, giving us the comfort of natural lighting - not like most common boardrooms of just plain walls and no windows. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Thank You. Clean rooms, fantastic location, great staff! We had 4 rooms - they gave us a view of the RW. Wallking distance to Alamo, Market Square, shopping, what more could you ask?

Simply The Best. Ive never stayed at a 'boutique hotel' before, and after this one, I will try and book them wherever I go. This was a unique hotel with lots of personality and for the price we paid, was well worth it. My family and I were in town to see the tourist sights and alhtough the weather was muggy, the hotel's location made it very easy (best part) to go to the Alamo, Riverwalk, etc...It was affordable, clean, service was great, plus there were art and pictures of san antonio 100 years ago all over the place with. Our room was comfortable with a balcony that looked right at the Tower of the Americas where we had dinner one of the nights. For the price this is the best.

Will Return. This place is great, in the heart of downtown, yet quiet nd clean. Stayed in a Jr suite, very nice, fair prices, but most important, the staff, from Vanessa at the front desk to Bruce in the dining room, are excellent at what they do and how they do it. We moved here mid way through a conference due to issues at a major name hotel, and will return to the Riverwalk Plaza again.

Definite value for the money. Definite value for the money. From a comfort standpoint this hotel is great (great bed), room amenities, right down to the upgraded ionic blow dryer, shower cap, and make up mirror in the bathroom. With all of the usual amenities, it was great to have a cafe, bar, and restaurant within the hotel and be right next to the river walk. We really enjoyed relaxing at the outdoor courtyard pool. Great staff as well. We had stayed at this hotel 1.5 years ago - they have made a great deal of improvements to their rooms since then. We plan to visit again next year!

thieving ass hotel. this is by far one of the crapiest hotels i have ever stayed at. FIRST off our someone tried to break into our car the first night we stayed there. Then the next day we went to sea world and while we were gone housekeeping did their job and desided they needed a tip, so they stole over 3000.00 worth of camera/photography equiptment from us. When confronted about the situiation they turned it around as beeing our fault we left these items in our room and when asked to watch the videos they told us we could not watch them. At this point i lost my cool and they kicked us out of the hotel. So needless to say we will never stay or tell anyone about this hotel. If you dont believe me i have two police reports to prove it.
