Warning: Do Not Eat at the GUADALAJARA GRILL. Just a huge warning not to eat at the Guadalajara Grill--My husband and I ate there today and truly felt like the bean and cheese nachos had been made with the left overs from other people's plates.

Why do I think this? There were little bits of other food like a 1/2 tsp. of chopped up chicken shreds on the plate--when i showed it to the waitress and asked what it was she said shredded chicken--i asked does this normally come with the bean and cheese nachos? She looked a bit shocked and said "oh the cook must have given you the nacho supremes, or else I wrote it as nacho supremes."

They were greasy and disgusting. The chips were also stale. The coffee tasted like it was watered down. I would say it was the worse meal I have ever had.

The "little town" is a friendly and tiny community of 25 unique shops.. Features
Stroll through the stone streets between historic buildings and watch true artisans at work. Spinners, jewelers, painters, glass blowers and others practice their craft right inside the shops, then will talk to you for hours if you're interested. This is a relaxed, comfortable neighborhood of authentic artifacts to browse through, including pottery, glass, antiques, candles, jewelry, hand-woven baskets and more.

Facts
A word of warning to tourists: Before asking for directions to this historic district near the end of the Riverwalk, make sure to get the pronunciation right: La Vee-YEE-tah. In addition to the obvious route from the street, there are stairs to the Arneson River Theatre and La Villita from the Riverwalk.

Lots of Character. La Villita really encompasses all the character that San Antonio exudes. I love browsing all the tiny shops and nick-nack stores that are housed in La Villita. For a quick rest, visit the Arneson River Theatre. Also, I sincerely love the Glass-Blowers museum. Still a 10-cent admission.
