Fat Tuesday is out of business>. When I was in San Antonio April 2006, Fat Tuesday had closed. It has been replaced with a Starbucks.

live music. MY FRIENDS AND I LOVE TO COME HERE ESPECIALLY TO HEAR THE LIVE MUSIC. THE BAND NAMED XFACTOR IS AWESOME!!!

Walk into this Riverwalk spot hungry and sober--walk out, still hungry, but happy..
Atmosphere? Fat Chance
It'll only take one of the super-sweet, high-alcohol frozen concoctions to get your mind off the lack of anything resembling atmosphere at this sometimes-busy watering hole. Similar soulless haunts on New Orleans' Bourbon St. at least have the character of a couple of locals glued to barstools to complement them?not to mention "to go cups" which allow for easy exit. If you hit Fat Tuesday on an off night you may feel trapped there with nothing to entertain you save a Harley Davidson pinball machine and a golf video game?the unwitting prisoner of a frozen cocktail you can't down quickly for fear of a brain-freeze headache.
Cajun Food? Fat Chance
Fat Tuesday is more a theme bar than a restaurant. The menu is predominantly bar food with some grill items. Although the place borrows from New Orleans name-wise, don't expect any Creole or Cajun specialties.
Jazzy Daiquiris
Fat Tuesday is a Riverwalk favorite for happy hour. Cheap drinks are thrown forth as plentiful as beads on Bourbon Street, including their famous daiquiris; they come in all shapes, flavors and sizes.

Better Before. Fat Tuesday's is great when they have live music! I love it. I have so much fun; especially when Chris Boss plays (if you haven't seen him, go check him out!). It was great to have the band so close and almost feel like you're part of the show! But now they've gone and added a stage!!! That is NOT cool. It's not fun either and if you're like me and like to be in the front, your neck hurts from looking up!!! They need to change it back to the way it was before!
