Great hotel BUT... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at goo.gl/FPxYD They have some of the best hotel deals on the web!

Really good deal. I loved this place and would stay again. Rooms were very comfy and clean with good room service. The location was ideal-- not too far from downtown. Great continental breakfast, wash area and best of all a really good deal on suites.

Nice budget property that does exactly what it's supposed to. "I'm not sure where the other reviewers are getting their complaints from, I've been here quite a few times and found it to be a great place to stay. I worked in San Antonio for weeks at a time, and Microtel was convenient (though you'd really only want to walk downtown in the daytime) clean, and spacious.

The downside: the breakfast was marginal, the neighborhood is a bit sketchy, and there is literally NOTHING of interest nearby. Other than that, the staff was helpful, the rate was cheap, the place was clean and well maintained. The maids don't beat on the door at 7AM, and the clerks usually smile as you walk by. I was allowed to check in early after a red eye flight, and the AC unit was quiet and effective.

All this makes for a dull review, but the truth is that this is a nice budget property that does exactly what it's supposed to..."

Front desk was very helpful!. When we checked in, they didn't have the room we had requester, so we were upgraded to accommodate us. Front desk was very helpful in telling us how to get around town and find what we were looking for

Courteous and helpful staff. I have to say I am very pleased. It is cheaper than most hotels in San Antonio, and not too far from downtown. I found the staff courteous and helpful, and I would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly atmosphere. Very hospitable, I travel to San Antonio quit often on business and stay at this hotel, breakfast is great, always clean, and the atmosphere

Job well done. We received outstanding service from the hotel staff. Our initial room had a minor problem but the hotel staff immediately corrected the issue with an upgrade. We would definitely recommend this hotel. A job well done!!!

Best bang for your buck. this is probably the best bang for your buck, if you're on a budget. Hotel was clean and had continental breakfast. Also it was a 15 minute drive to Seaworld. I paid $50/night.

Save some money and have a comfortable stay. Stayed there from Sunday through Wednesday. Clean rooms and good price. Went to sea world and zoo as well as downtown. Convenient to all locations. Longest travel time was 15-20 min to sea world. If your looking to save some money and have a comfortable stay this is the place. Bed was not one of the cheep hard one's either.

I would definitely stay there again. "*I would definitely stay there again*": The price was good and fair. As far as the location I'd choose another side of town but its ok because it was close to all attractions, and there is security there all night. The best part was their breakfast. You get to cook your own Big Texas Shaped Waffles, and oh yeah, its all you can eat waffles, cereal, and toast. So overall our experience was a good one.
