The Lords Kitchen is one of those hard-to-find places that "the locals" only seem to know about. It's hidden away by the train tracks on the eastside of downtown. If you find it by chance you must be doing something illegal or are lost. It is sometimes difficult to get a seat---that's a good sign. The burgers are much better than most of San Antonio's favorite burger places. In fact, I would put the Lords Kitchen burger up against Chris Madrids, Lone Star or Chesters anyday. It is an original San Antonio eatery.

The bad: It isn't in the best of locations and the restaurants ambiance is a bit lacking. Also, my husband and I had to wait over 30 minutes for our burgers. The good: The burgers were absolutely delicious! Even with all the cons I would go again.
Pros: great food
Cons: too crowded, needs restoration
