Amazing, Wonderful Saturday Breakfast. I'm in love with Broadway Daily Bread's sour cream pecan muffins (and every other muffin there), the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are to die for, and the chocolate cupcakes are like nothing you've ever had before. The line can be out the door many mornings, and going any morning for a cup of coffee and a muffin is not only cheap, but decadent. I know people who love their bread so much that they make a stop on a bad day to buy a loaf and console themselves.

Owner Chris McDaniel's healthful, handmade breads have made this bakery an Alamo Heights favorite. Milling organic, high-protein Montana wheat on-site produces fresh, wholesome, preservative-free breads without oils, milk or butter. Regular offerings depend on the day of the week and the season. No sweet tooth can resist saucer-sized chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes, lemon bars, tea breads or biscotti. Breakfast-on-the-run offerings include scones, kolache, cinnamon rolls and muffins filled with berries or sour cream and walnuts.

mouth-watering delicious. Amazing tradional breads and chocolate chip cookies to die for...cinamin rolls are gooey and melt-in-your-mouth good. definate two thumbs up.
