GREAT SERVICE. I went to this establishment on the request of my wife who works for a company that uses them for car service. I already had a mechanic that I enjoyed but was always frustrated by the length of time it took to fix my car. So I go in to have the Transmission Linkage cable replaced because it had broke at the end where it connects to the Trans. I get a call and am told that it is going to cost $319.00 to fix it and I say alright having already looked this up on the internet and had an idea what it was going to cost. They finally get the part late in the day (by the way they told me that it would be ready around 3pm which is so different than what I am used to) when I call they tell me that it is taking longer because the part was late but they would finish it today. I get there at 4:58 (they close at 5pm) and the car is done. Not only is it done, but the Mechanic (who I think is the owner?) Larry says you know what, I got the part in (he shows it to me) but they wanted way to much freakin' money for it (not his real words) so we repaired the cable and your bill is (WAIT FOR IT!!!) $65.00. Don't know about that other reviewers experience but I am definitely going back. I am in Customer Service and the way that he handled this was just like my Dad did in the printing business. You help your customers and you do not Gouge them. Thank you Broadway Tire and Automotive, you have a customer for life and I will be sending others your way.

highway robbery. Towed my car to their shop- a mere 2 blocks and although I asked both the guy at the shop (Gary?) and the guy who did the tow, both refused to tell me what the cost of the tow would be. Only till hours later did they tell me the tow would be a $65 for those 2 blocks. I might as well have pushed it there. Their labor costs may be fair, but the cost they quoted me on the part for my car was outrageous. My husband talked to a friend who is a part time mechanic and said he could get the same part at wholesale for about half the price. This Gary was incredibly rude, threatened to keep my van! Because I scared him with suing for not having gotten a quote on the tow. I will never go there again and will make sure to let everyone I know to never visit their shop.
