I moved to Austin a few years back and since I have been engaged I have been terribly stressed planning my wedding far from my family. I wanted to cherish every part of this experience and wanted everything to be special. I had gone wedding dress shopping with friends at other stores in Austin and was terribly disappointed by the experience. As soon as my friends picked their dress, the interaction became entirely a business deal. I was terrified this would be the same for me. Lucky me, I found Serendipity Bridal. From the moment I walked in the door they treated me like a princess. Everything became an experience! 3 of my bridesmaid came with me the first time and the sales ladies included them in everything! We tried on tens of dresses and after the sales woman became familiar with my taste, she began pulling other dresses I hadnt seen. Near the end, she even got on the phone with my Mom who is a few states away to tell her what we were looking at. A few weeks later, my Mom came to town and we went back to try and find my perfect dress. I had my dream experience with my Mom as we searched through dresses. In the end, I chose a dress that I originally rejected but the sales woman insisted I try on. She was the expert and she helped me find my dream dress!! Once I chose my dress, we didnt talk business, we celebrated! What a wonderful memory I now have. Since buying my dress, I have stopped by several times to find a bridesmaid dress. I wont even consider buying one from somewhere else. The experience and treatment I received at Serendipity is unmatched and I refuse to work with anyone else. Ladies of Serendipity, thank you for making my wedding dreams come true!!!!

I was a little tentative about Serendipity before I went in, as I had heard they were a really uppity. I couldn't have been more wrong. Olga was a dream come true, and I was blown away by the attention she lavished on me, even with my relatively meagre budget. She showed me tons of dresses out of the sale section and some of the less expensive gowns in the store (but warning, ladies: it would be reeeeeeal easy to spend 5 grand in there - a large portion of their gowns are $3000+). Her energy was amazing - she was grabbing dresses left and right, and even a few I turned down, she put in the dressing room anyway. "You try," she said (her accent is totally cool). Anyway, I'm glad she did, because the gown I chose was one I had rejected. She helped me into each gown, clamped me in so it would fit, and then showed me every detail of each gown in the mirror - how the dress looked in the back, how it would bustle, how it looked with different veils, how it looked with different accessories—it was mind-boggling. She was running all over the store to grab cute accessories for my hair, different swashes to accessorize the dresses, different hairstyles, everything. With her help, I was able to envision not just how each gown looked, but how it could look even better on my day. I got the celebrity treatment in my half-price gown. I went to 4 other stores in town, and not one came close to the level of service I got from Olga. Overall, the store has a great selection, though a little on the pricey side, and with a little digging, there's something for everyone. Book an appointment with Olga—she's the best!
