Gibson Costume Shop Inc

Gibson needs to learn customer service. We came into town and had to attend a theme costume party? Looked online and found gibson. I don't ever write reviews, but left a need to do this one. Shop was very easy to find, and that is about the only thing good a can say. Costumes were in very good shape and were clean and well maintained. I have never had such bad customer service in my life. I work in a retail shop and know what to expect. Upon entering the store, took several minutes for someone to address us and ask for help. Someone from the back of the store yelled for someone to come out and help us. Finally, an older lady can out and ask what we needed. Renting or buying? She proceeded to tell us to go upstairs. She acted like she was put off that she would have to help us. I sense the vibe and I was not going to let her stop me. made my way around. picking several dresses to try on. She was not happy that I was trying on things. Finally, when we had decided, I am still looking around and she wants to go. Then made our way to the front of store check-out, another employee has to help us check out. Again, No smile, like we were a burden to be there. I would look for another place the next time in town.…

The best place to shop. First off I'd like to say that Gibsons is an awesome place to shop. I cant even believe the horrible things people are saying about this shop. Ive been going to Gibsons for three years straight already and have never not even once encountered a bad experince. I do face painting for children and I go to Gibsons for all my Ben Nye makeup. Which they have an awesome selection . Theres nothing they dont have in the line of makeup. It seems like everytime I go theyre always adding new thngs to theyre Ben Nye selection. This place is just awesome. Employees are very friendly. They dont just help me they converse with me every time and make me feel welcome. Very quickly they remember me when i walk in the store and thats what I like. They dont just treat me like an average customer. im welcomed there. With that being said..."Gibson Girls" keep up the good work and Dont let these evil people bring you down. I will never shop else where. By the way love the new look of the building. Looks awesome!!!…

Go to Starline!!!. I gave them one star because I couldn't give them a negative 10. They are always rude, but they'd have to be wierd to work in a dark smelly place like this. Honestly, you'd think I wanted to buy the stuff, not just rent it a couple of days. And it does smell terrible!!! Like rotting dirty sewer something...go to Starline! The folks there are fun and friendly and you won't feel ripped off!!!…

Very rude. I normally don't comment on businesses, but I have never been to an establishment where the employees are consistently rude. I thought it would be a good place to patron since I do a lot of theatre. Theatrical makeup is expensive and I spend a lot of money on it, but they will receive no more of my business. I have visited the store three times. Each time the person behind the counter was rude and not helpful. It seemed like it was an imposition that I wanted to spend money there. I will order my makeup online. I would rather spend extra money on shipping than deal with such rude people.…
