It is what it says it is. Do you want a fast lunch? Do you want to catch a bite before the movie? Do you want to satisfy your craving for a salad when the kids are screaming for pizza? EZs is you answer. With tasty, tangy pizzas, fresh salads and a satisfying burger EZ's delivers good food at a good value. My only complaint is that they just deleted my favorite, the Asian Chicken salad, from the menu.

Love EZs. This is the best place to stop after a hot day at one of SAs amusement parks. We've done that twice now and will continue the tradition. The rosemary chicken is the best as is their shakes. The help is always very pleasant and the booths comfortable. We've been to two different locations, and were equally pleased.

Noise and neon, both loud, don't drown out the good tastes.. The Food
Started by fabled San Antonio restauranteur Cappy Lawton, EZ's quickly became a small local chain. Since Lawton sold it to some corporate types, EZ's have started to fill the landscape from here to Houston. The new owners didn't fiddle with the formula, though. They still use brick ovens for making delicious pizzas and focaccia breads, roasting chicken with loads of rosemary, and baking crusty calzones. EZ's also tosses fresh salads, including a tasty Caesar, and has become locally famous for great shakes made the old-fashioned way--with real ice cream and fresh milk. Shakes can be had in various permutations, including mint chocolate chip and Oreo cookie.

The Scene
All locations tend to be overly noisy and feature decor as loud as the decibels: neon is de rigeur. Still, EZ's has become a family favorite and there's no doubting the value. At EZ's, you order at the counter, serve your own drinks and wait for your number to be called. Most locations have outdoor seating.

Happy Days!. EZ's is the place where you can take a casual date or a group of friends and satisfy everyone's pallet. Excellent burgers and pizza sit on the menu next to more elaborate dishes including delicious salads and pasta meals, especially my favorite the Alamo Bowl (Yum!) Top it off with a milkshake or any other dessert and the dining experience combined with the friendly service and colorful decor will certainly take you back to those "Happy Days."
