On nice days, the patio--complete with flourishing vegetation and whispering palms--is ideal. Inside, take a seat on leather couches at the bar for a margarita or at tables located on multiple levels. Menu specialties include pozole soup, tacos al pastor, tres leches cake and other traditional Mexican dishes. Breakfast is popular on Saturday mornings--try the chilaquiles or carne machaca for a treat.

This is one of my favorite Mexican food restaurants in San Antonio. It has delicious food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great margaritas. It isn't your typical mexican taco place. I really enjoy dining here.
Pros: everything is good here
Cons: sometimes there's a long wait, again the good places are usually this full.

My husband and I took an out of town guest to Paloma Blanca after another couple reccommended it. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by the hostess and shown to our table. Our waiter was new and a bit unsure of himself; he was unable to find a wine list or answer questions about the menu. However, his difficiencies were overwhelmed by the wonderful food. Everything we ordered was superub. The margaritas were fantastic. The food was very tasty and portions were generous. The atmosphere is very relaxing, cool, crisp and calming. I would definitely reccomend Paloma Blanca to my friends and family.
