Excellent Service and Food. I had them cook my Turkey for me this year because I just didnt have the time. Needless to say it turned out 100 times better than if I had cooked it. I really appreciate the Friendly service and excellent attitude of the employees. Thanks Again, Stefani Early
Sample reasonably priced barbecue in a converted gas station..
Employees of nearby businesses flood this popular serve-yourself barbecue place year-round while students show up daily after school. The most popular entrees are pork ribs, brisket and sausage, which include two side orders. Bottles of the establishment's barbecue sauce are placed at each table for patrons. You can even take some home with you for a nominal fee. Freebies include bread and pickles. There's a limited list of domestic beers and wines.
BBQ without the hype. This is my favorite bbq in S.A. so far. They don't hype it up like a lot of the other restaurants, but they do provide good food at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend ribs and sausage.
Perhaps _the_ best in San Antonio. Rudy's has turned into a chain and lost a lot of its quality on the way. Casey's is headed that direction. Barbecue Station remains the same and I couldn't be happier. For me, it all comes down to the brisket and this place serves the tastiest in town. I eat their regularly but I've never gotten an ugly slice. Can't beat their sauce, either! The ambience is spartan, but who cares?
