the best place for designer resale.

you have to go in to experiance what a treat this boutique has to offer. the clothes and the labels are the best around. the customer service is beyond great and the atmosphere makes you never want to leave!

• Pros: clothes are in excellent shape. the shoes are hot!
• Cons: not enough time to shop!

No star would be the best rating..

Recommendation.. Read all the reviews and you will understand why you should not enter the doors of Baubles and Beads on Broadway. The owner Maureen is an embarassment to shop owners in San Antonio. I don't rattle easy, but today was a horrible experience. My consignment was over and I went to pick up the items that did not sell. Also, tried to pick up some jewelry that was broken, which they had set to the side for me to pick up later. I was told I had to search the boutique myself to find my items. A daunting task but , I got it done, all except for one suit. Upon asking for my broken jewelry rude Maureen, proceeded to tell me they didn't have time to look for it as she was slaming draws pretending to. I asked her if she was having a bad day. Then she started a yelling over the counter loud enough for every one to hear that I was just mad because she couldnt find my jewelry. Again , I don't rattle easy, but I found myself in a yelling match with her. She was so busy trying to be right, she couldnt hear what I was saying. Nor was she even trying. . She actually yelled at me telling me that I should be thanking her for selling my stuff, mind you she cleared 60 of what was sold. There is something really wrong with this slopily dressed, fouled mouth, rude person to take out such anger on someone that helped to pay her bills. I should have read the reviews....so sorry I didn't.

Stuck up Staff, Rude Owner, and Second rate merchandise

First of all, I have low expectations for a glorified rummage sale, but this establishment fell far below my already low expectations. The plastic bags offered at Wal-Mart are of a better quality than the handbags sold at this baubles and beads. Now don't get me wrong ladies, I enjoy perusing these little shops and occasionaly unearthing a good find,but your search would be fruitless here if you are interested in quality products for a good price. An afternoon of Dumpster diving

would yield greater results and you would not have to deal with rude staff.

The owner of this store is so rude that she makes the Soup N a z i from Seinfeld look like a friendly little kitten!

The owner's lack of people skills is appalling.Unfortunately, it seems that she never heard of the concept of that "the customer is always right."I purchased a little purse from the baubles and beads for my granddaughter's birthday and the handle broke as soon as she took out of the gift box. As soon as the handle snapped , the poor little dear burst into tears. That sweet little girl had her heart set on that purse, and now her birthday was ruined a product malfunction!
