An independent bookstore with a fiercely Texas spirit, The Twig is home to a variety of local, regional and national authors, their books and themselves. You might catch poetess Naomi Nye signing books or Ted Fehrenbach discussing Texas' history, but either way, it's sure to be entertaining.

All About Books
The children's section in the Red Balloon Children's Bookstore is filled with clever cutouts of classic characters from Eloise to Eeyore, and story hours are held every Friday. The two stores are connected.

Atmosphere
Twig Books is comfortable, casual and perfect for anyone who appreciates the independent spirit. The Twig has a large selection of Texana and tons of works by local authors. There are plenty of autographed copies for everyone.
