Very helpful and responsive in all matters regarding my house in Alamo Heights. All maintenance issues were taken care of with my approval, and tenants were happy with the accommodating vendors hired by Davidson. I felt comfortable with them marketing my home & finding good qualifying tenants. The annual inspections were great and helped keep me in the loop on the condition of my house, which was helpful while i was overseas. Competant, professional company. I recommended them to my friend and he is happy with their service too.
we lived in a davidson rental for three years and never had any problems with the company or the house. we actually had to break our lease early, but davidson and the owner worked with us, and after paying the reletting fees, the house was back on the market which was good for us because someone leased it a week later. the owner was wonderful and understanding of our situation so we are very blessed.
i gotta say, im not sure why theres so many negative comments. we did have to have pest control come out a few times a year but thats pretty typical of san antonio. we have to do the same thing at our new place too here in houston.
The staff has been very polite and helpful. We needed to move immediately and they were willing to work with us to get us in quick and easy. They emailed us the lease and we went through the whole process electronically which was soo convenient.
The house is in good shape, but we've had a few maintenance issues since moving in (primarily AC) and they have been quick to get the problems fixed ---still getting used to the Texas heat, lol.
We're very happy and hope to be here for a few years. Good neighborhood, good schools
Staff is very nice and always helpful with questions. I had a reoccuring problem with my a/c and they got it taken care of. Will be renewing my lease. :)
Customer Service is complaisant. They become combative when a tenant requests a repair. We have spent money out of our pocket to replace damages that previous tenants were responsible for. These people adverstise "Property Management You Can Count On". You can count on them not to return your calls when your rental property need something fixed. We ARE NOT renewing our lease. We have been forced to invest in this rental property because of their lack of urgency. Furthermore I would go as far as to say that any positive feedback of this company on this website appears to be fabricated by an employee. Honestly would a satisfied client sound that prompted???
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Enjoying my rental property very much. Great customer service - friendly and prompt. Would definitely recommend.
HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! Do not rent from these guys!!! The properties may look nice but the photos are outdated and unreliable. They will rent out properties in TERRIBLE condition and unless you complain within 48 hours and get them to fix it you are responsible for damages. Getting in touch with them is RIDICUOLOUS when you need something fixed. Take my advice and stay away from this company!!!
Terrible Customer Service!!! By FAR the most rude property managers you can have. You will be scammed out of your multiple application fees on houses that have leases already signed but they still list on their website as "available". Don't waste your time with these guys call a Realtor.
TERRIBLE!!!! SOOOOOO Rude!!! Do NOT lease from these people!!!! They treat you like you're lying when you call for a repair!! Literally, "the dishwasher was working when we inspected it last year" or "we didn't see any termites when we were there last." Why would I lie about those things! RUN as fast from these EVIL people as you can!!! They are a NIGHTMARE!!! I LOVE where I live, but I won't renew because they are so horrible to work with!!!
Worst Rental Company! – By far the worst rental company ever. They are the main reason we terminated our lease after only 1 year. I feel bad for the homeowners because they have no idea how awful there rental company is, not to mention how rundown there home is becoming. They use outdated photos on there website and we stupidly signed a lease based off the location of the home and the photos.
The staff was never helpful, if you called with a question they would answer " I don't know" and leave it at that, instead of being professional and saying "let me find out, or well get back to you" In addition some of their staff was very rude!
If you have a contract through Davidson Properties I'm sorry and wish you the best. Be sure to indicate every little flaw in the home on your move-in checklist. They get you for EVERYTHING! An example of this is: if the inside of a door frame has a large number of dog scratches, most likely the outside of the door frame will as well. Well we only marked the inside of the door and were charged for the outside of a door that had so many scratches that it would have taken years to make them. This was only one of many similar cases! Oh yeah, if you put a screw hole in the wall (like most people do to hang pictures) fix it yourself before you leave, eventhough they tell you not too. They charge so much for that!!!
The only reason I will even agree with giving this company 1 star is because there handyman is very friendly and got the job done when needed.
Stay away from this rental company, even if you really want the home. Believe me, speaking from experience
