I've gone to several spas in San Antonio and I absolutely love A.R.T. Massage Body Spa! It's located in a cute bungalow near downtown. The atmosphere is very relaxing and soothing. I've had excellent customer service and Tasha is the best massage therapist I've ever had. I go quite frequently and have yet to be disapointed. I will not go any where else but A.R.T. Massage Body Spa. I hope that others will find this unique spa as wonderful as I do.

Hi, my name is Alison McLaughlin and I own A.R.T. Massage Body Spa. This is in response to the last reviewer. I sincerely apologize that we did not meet your expectations. We take great pride in the location and style of our building. While some may prefer a more generic, clinical strip-center setting, we feel our 1920's bungalow is a charming look that is very appealing. In terms of the construction, I do agree it is a bit of a pain. Unfortunately, we do not have any control over this matter. Thank goodness we have been in business for nearly nine years and our loyal clientele has allowed us to survive this short but necessary construction project. At A.R.T. Massage we take great pride in the Eminence organic facial line we carry. While the therapists are passionate about these products, they make their income through the services, not the product sales. I value client feedback and I am personally at the spa most business hours. We?re constantly striving to exceed our client?s expectations, and without clients communicating with me I am unable to correct and improve our services. I welcome anyone to stop by and check out the spa and see why we have a clientele list of 5,000 plus. Health & Happiness, Alison McLaughlin

I found this place online and was initially very impressed by the description, I was expecting a luxury visit in San Antonio. LOL. That's what I get for guessing in the dark, the place was far from relaxing at all! First off, it's small and kinda hard to find, not to mention there is LOUD construction on the road outside. After finally arriving through traffic and whatnot I get there to reliaze it's a tiny little house, looks like they converted an old house with interesting results? A mishmash of knickknacks and retail stuff is crammed in there, and the staff was a little pushy about trying to sell me products... I received a massage and a facial, and they were definitly subparr to be nice. No pressure during the massage, though I asked for more, and it felt like my facial was rushed and things were just slopped on my face. I have to admit I was disappointed.. It SOUNDED so good! Will not be stopping back there unfortunatly..
