Gold's Gym

Excellent facilities and instructors. Customer service could be better.. My friend and I both joined at the end of May. I've been a member of a few different gyms, and this one definitely has the nicest facilities. Clean, spacious, and comfortable. I do like the fact that there are Womens Only facilities, which include most of the same equipment as the main facilities downstairs. The dressing rooms and showers are always clean and do include free amenities like shampoo, towels, soap, etc. A few years ago, I swore NEVER to use the showers or dressing rooms at a gym, but after a few visits, I made an exception. Even if you are a modest, private person, you will feel comfortable at Spectrum.

The manager, fitness instructors, and other employees are very friendly. However, our "free tour" lasted less than 10 minutes and the young woman who led us around could not have been less helpful and seemed rather bored. She never really answered our questions except to say either "Yeah" or "No". Anyone who shows new people around should have SOME type of customer service training! A few days later, the same girl chastised my friend for putting her used towel in a laundry bin (turned out to be the wrong one, but no one told her that on the tour.) The manager really tried to convince us to spend extra money for personal training sessions and other services, but hey, we are TEACHERS. We don't have several hundred dollars to spend on that type of luxury. So, after we declined, then suddenly the staff stopped paying any attention to us. That is fine, but it's been almost three weeks, and we are still waiting to receive our membership cards! Our friends received theirs within a few days. I'll end on a positive note: Her kids love the day care center. The Cycle, Kick Boxing, and Tai Chi classes are excellent, with enthusiastic and very helpful instructors. But the BEST class is ZUMBA. We love it, and are already seeing noticeable results!…

Great customer service, fantastic pool, amazing fitness offerings, clean and fun atmosphere.. The Spectrum Club not only has friendly staff, but the atmosphere is clean, bright and full of modern fitness equipment. The lockerooms are amazing. They are clean, smell great, offer towels, and all the amenities like a spa experience. The fitness instructors and personal trainers are knowledgeable and truly want to help. This club has a fantastic pool, and many different classes like yoga, cycle, and pilates. Not only is the location convenient, but I enjoy working out there. They also have a great center for kids and many acitivies to keep them from boredom. I would recommend Spectrum to anyone. It has been great for me.…

Best Health Club in SA. I joined Spectrum about 2 years ago when I decided I wanted to lose weight for my wedding in April. I was a bit hesitant to join an athletic club because I have never been a member of one and was also self conscious about working out in front of others. I have enjoyed using the women's only workout room which has the same cardio and strength training equipment as the main floor, but provides extra privacy. I also enjoy the individual TV screens on the cardio equipment so I can watch my favorite shows while working out. Recently, I upgraded to HealthMiles. I wear my GoZone pedometer everyday and am able to better monitor my health and fitness progress!…

Best Athletic Club Ever!. I have been very pleased with my membership at Spectrum! They offer incredible customer service, great cardio and strength training equipment, and a variety of fun, challenging group exercise classes. The TV screens on the cardio equipment help me get through my workouts and I love the cycling classes! I am also using a personal trainer who was recommended by a Spectrum employee and I love him too!!! He is fabulous and has helped me reach and maintain my fitness goals.…
