America's original kiddie playland, as verified by the National Amusement Park Historical Association, this relic has entertained generations of San Antonio children since 1925. The association's pride and joy is the 1918 Herschell-Spillman Carousel, featuring 36 jumping horses and two chariots.
Youngsters
Other rides include mini-coasters and other typical kiddie carnival favorites. It's a tiny, colorful park, and it'll only keep 'em occupied for a couple hours max, but it's a cute site to visit if you need something to do between lunch and naptime. And don't even think about bringing the over-10 crowd--"Kiddie" here means the single-digit age category, specializing in ages 2-6.

I was at the Kiddie Park with my children today and they had a blast. Just as we were getting ready to leave the park, however, one of the ferris wheel cars broke with children in it! One side of the car actually broke away from the wheel and fell to the ground. Luckily, the car was low close to the ground when this happened and the children were terrified (screaming as the parents ran to free them from the car), but unhurt as far as I could tell. I cringe to think what could have happened had the mechanism failed when the car was at the top of the ride. I am saddened that the management doesn't inspect the rides more carefully, and I will never feel safe allowing my children on one of their rides.
Pros: Fun for the kids
Cons: Someone could get seriously injured

Wonderful place for the kids to play. I'm going to have my kid's next birthday party there. The prices are very reasonable.
Pros: great kiddie coaster, real antique rides, wonderful merry-go-ro
