Best Daycare in San Antonio!
by melissadk831
Candy Cane is an awesome daycare for children. I have first hand knowledge since this is where I went as a child. I now send both my boys to Ms. Carolyn's school and they enjoy it very much. As a new mom, I was very hesitant to send my children off to be taken care of by strangers. But Ms. Carolyn and her staff are so loving to my children with hugs and laughter, I couldn't ask for anything more. Also, one of my children have special needs and I love the fact that they all care for him as if he were they're own. They truely care for the needs of my babies.
- Pros: Great staff and great fun for all the kids
- Cons: small
Personable Staff

I love the staff at Candy Cane. We reviewed this facility during my second trimester and Miss Carolyn gave us a tour of the areas our daughter will be utilizing during her time there. The staff is very friendly, they know you by name (either yours of your child's), and they enjoy the children they care for. They also check the child's diapers about every hour, or when there is something to be checked. And they help with a feeding and nap schedule. Check this place out. The mom and pop feel of Candy Cane will help you decide that this is the right place for your child(ren).
- Pros: Friendly staff, seperate rooms for different age groups, owner is involved.
- Cons: Some of their toys seem to be old, but with a small donation, this can be rectified.
Great wholesome family atmosphere

It's been 10 years since I had to look into childcare for an infant. Like any mother of a new born - you are very cautious. I visited the facility in my last trimester and immediately fell in love with it. Althought its not much to look at when compared to the flashy, modern high turn over care ctrs in town. It's family owned and operated with a a truly knowledgable staff who are awesome with the children not matter what age. My family is very happy with this facility.
- Pros: Great management , awesome staff, Family atmosphere
