San Antonio Best Steak for the money. !!!. I have been going to the Little Red Barn for over 25 years. I have had a pleasurable eating experience everytime I have gone. Which is about once a week. The Steaks are served fresh and Hot . Always a Big baked potato and soft, warm, delicious dinner rolls. And the friendliest servers in San Antonio. The family owned and run restaurant is just like home. There are other steak places in town but I promise you can't find a better steak place for the money. Very resonably priced ! Always something to drink in your glass and always a tasty hot meal served at The Little Red Barn.

Great shrimp. I know, I know, it's a steak house but the shrimp is outstanding! They make the tartar sauce fresh every day just like they do their salad dressings........from scratch. I just recently discovered they have green beans on the menu and are they buttery, sooo good. They serve them in a separate bowl because they are so buttery and juicy. Try the fish and shrimp combo if you don't want steak. You will love it, I quarantee.

Awesome steakhouse!!. Thank you to Nancy at Little Red Barn!! She hosted a fundraiser for us - about 100 people. The service was excellent & very quick (for 100 people that says a lot)!!!! The food was very good and we had a huge portion for a very economical price! Looking for a place to hold a big gathering?? Little Red barn is it!! Amazing!! We will be back with other big crowds!

PICKY EATER. I HAD A GREAT TIME AT THE LITTLE RED BARN! THE SERVICE WAS SO PEOPLE FRIENDLY.I HAD THE T-BONE STEAK AND IT WAS COOKED JUST THE WAY I ASKED,SOMETIMES CHEF'S COOK THE WAY THEY WANT,BUT THIS TIME IT WAS MY WAY.I WILL GO BACK IN THE NEXT WEEK. OH YEA THEY HAVE THESE BROWNIES THAT WILL MAKE YOU CRY AND BEG FOR MORE,THEY HAVE WALNUT'S IN THEM. THIS PLACE IS GOOD FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY AND THE PRICES ARE RIGHT,WON'T BREAK YOU LOL

Worst Steak ever. We are in SA ever year for the stock show and eat at the Red Barn once and sometimes twicw during our stay. This year was by far the worst. I ordered a medium steak and got a well done. The waitress could not keep up with everyone (party orf 6) and the lady at the checkout acted as if she was mad at the world. Maybe she had just eaten a steak, too, Anyway, we wont ever go back.

Without Question the Worst Steak Ever!!!. (Written by Cliff, my Husband) I have not been to the Little Red Barn in years. Being in San Antonio to visit friends and family we stopped in last night and had the worst meal of my life. I had read some of the reviews and told myself, No way their accurate. We’ll I’m here to tell you they were. I didn’t have the heart to tell the woman who past our table 2-3 times and asked how our meal was. The fact that I was raised on a cattle ranch and was weaned on beef and never found a use for steak sauce until last night should have been a tell-tell sign. When leaving I overheard others saying they had their worst meal in 20 years.

Without a major turnaround in the quality of food I don’t think our family will ever be back.

(They made me give the one star to place this review otherwise it would have been 0 stars)

Consistently good food and service. I have eaten at the Little Red Barn almost since they opened and have always had great food and service.

I highly recommend.

POOR SERVICE AND BAD STEAKS. THE STEAKS AT LITTLE RED BARN ARE HORRIBLE. THEY WERE SERVED COLD AND VERY THIN. THE WAITRESS WAS HORRIBLE AND WE HAD TO KEEP ASKING FOR TEA REFILLS. THE DINING EXPERIENCE WAS NOT ENJOYABLE.
