Not had a problem yet.while visiting our families in San Antonio from Oklahoma. This has been our favorite in many years :).Good food. Great service.

Special of the day: Dead flies. Worst experience ever! The parking was terrible. I spent 15 minutes trying to find a parking spot. As we were seated & drinks were brought to us, My daughter tells the waitress, "excuse me ma'am but there is a dead fly in my glass." The waitress felt annoyed & brought her another glass of ice. I felt like she just took out the ice & brought back the same glass. She didn't apologize or anything. So I just blew it off. The cashier asked me if everything was ok. I said well...my daughter found a dead fly in glass of ice & grossed out. No apology was given or anything. Just ok it will be $10.81. I said ok. No problem I just thought I should share that w/u ma'am. Since you asked if everything was ok. So I was polite & left. Hellooooo!! What ever happened to bieng courteous to you customers. I didn't want anything free. But at least apologize. Not too much to ask for. I will never eat there again. But I gurantee you I will call the Health dept.

We likey. We like to eat here a lot! The food is always good, but the prices are kinda high. We usually order off the specials menu or the mini tacos. We would go here more often if we didn't have to drive down Military Dr. to get there. (pure torture)

Good Mexican Food. Unlike a previous review in which the writer was more concerned that the staff didn't speak English; I like this place. The food quality, assortment and price is still better than you will find on the river like Casa Rio.

I have always found the staff attentive and courteous during peak and non peak hours. They work hard to get you a table quickly. The food is generally what you would expect to find on a TexMex menu. The portions are generous and their pricing is moderate.

Depending on your own tastes; you may or may not enjoy the musical entertainment. They usually have a female troupe of Mariachi's performing and they like to have customer participation....part of the fun in being there. So if your looking for the quite dinner to hold a intimate conversation; this is not the place. The atmosphere at times is more like you would find at home in your own kitchen with friends and family.

I don't like the roving Trios soliciting songs from the customers. Would rather the management book them and have them set up a tip jar instead of having them bug you while your trying to eat.

Plus I recommend that they pave the secondary parking lot which is generally full and add more lighting for safety in the parking lot.

It's good Mexican food, not the best and not the worst in a city overflowing with TexMex joints. Plus the hours of operation are conveinient.

WAAAAAYYY OVERPRICED. First of all this used to be a smaller restaurant down the street from where at now, built new one, and prices got outrageous. i go out to eat alot, and used to work on the riverwalk and these prices beat even prices in the river. I had poor service, no one speaking english, and restaurant just not up to par. this is a south side restaurant, not north or even downtown, to pay 9 dollars for an enchilada plate is just ridiculous

Delicioso!!!!. Excellent place for good tacos at a cheap price. Lunch and Dinner Plates are very reasonably priced. Flour tortillas are handmade as is the guacamole. Lots of parking, tables, and waitstaff to accomodate a large amount of customers. Mariachis and three-man conjuntos make ocassional appearances on weekends for $2/song.
