poor management, worse training!. I have enjoyed Jacks food for some time. I moved to the NE part of town off Walzem road 3 years ago. The Jack on walzen has some frustrating problems. 3 weeks ago, I ordered a serloin sandwich, when I got to the window I was asked if it was a problem there was no bacon..they could not find any. (hmmm)

2 weeks abo, my partner and I were returning from work, and stoped for milk shakes and sandwiches, and we were told if we were willing to wait 20 minutes we could, they had no ice cream..No Ice Cream, (sad).

Last evening, about 7 pm, same place, we puilled in, ordered a mango smoothie (large) a large oreo shake, 2 assorted burgers, large fry...we waited in line, 3 cars, got to the window, and got "Sorry Sir, we dont have any large cups.....

Now I am not a fast food expert, but losing the ingrediants to one sandwich on the menu, not having any ice cream made for a place with 8-10 ice cream drinks advertised, and lastly, during rush hour, when people are coming home from work, order large drinks and you dont have any large drink cups is just plain bad planning. These were all on week days, all between 5 and 7 pm. I am assuming the day manager/the big Jack had been at work all day, and still had not anticipated the needs of the facility. The lack of training of the evening manager was apparent, as well as the fact that the staff did not inform us of the discrepancies untill we had been in line approximately 10 minutes, rather then telling us when we ordered.

I can olny advise anyone reading the reviews on here, not to frequent the Jack In The Box on Walzem road. There are many more, and one just the next exit south on 35, and yet another a few exits north on 35, enjoy the food and the drinks you like and ordered at a place that is well run and well supplied, and the staff is well trained. Ignore the failings of a bad franchise, avoid Jack on Walzem..its a mess!

Fast-food chain attracts a drive-thru crowd with its made-to-order burgers and specialty sandwiches.. In Short
Since 1951, this quick-serve restaurant has catered to on-the-go motorists, pioneering drive-thru dining and a broad selection of distinctive fast-food items. The menu emphasizes burgers like the best-selling Jumbo Jack--a thick patty topped with lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mayo-onion sauce--but value items like stuffed jalapenos, bacon-cheddar potato wedges, and "monster" tacos are popular, too. Breakfast and sourdough sandwiches, salads and real ice cream shakes round out the offerings.

YUMM. Jack in the box is the ONLY fast food place that i eat a burger, not only do they have very reasonable prices, a great $.99c menu, but they make the burger how you want it and is always fresh, and the best of all is one of the few places that is open 24/7 and still cooking their burgers. They are just a great place to eat, even my family that come to visit form out of the states could not get enough of their food. They are just GREAT!!!!
