The Scene – In the early 1930s, Newt Casbeer, a politician who owned racehorses, built the small strip center that houses Casbeers. The space, initially a plumbing supply store, quickly turned into a bar where locals played pool and dominoes. This Place Comes Close To "Cheers"

This place has the best "truckers" enchiladas in San Antonio. The place is pretty much a "hole in the wall" but it's a great hole. The owners and wait staff are super friendly. Once you start going there you simply start to become a friend to them.

Consistently drawing great national, regional, and local music. You MUST go to see the music, and you need to eat their burgers--best in the city. Steve and Barbara are down-home and friendly. Go visit once and you'll be a believer!
