Excellent food and service. the food was excellent, served fresh, hot and promptly. very attentive server. the restaurant was clean and well priced. Disappointed. My wife and I have been going to La Playa for many years without any problems. We really enjoyed the food until Nov. 23. 2010. My wife had the fish and shrimp A La Plancha. and 2 Corona's. Well later on that evening she woke me up complaining of very bad nausia, chills and abdominal pains. I rushed her to the emercency room and three days later, with unknown amount of intervinus antibiotics, found out she had FOOD POISONING. This is no joke, prank or lie. We will never go back there.

Best seafood in town, Great variety, and Affordable. I really enjoyed being in this restaurant The service was very fast and the staff was very friendly. the food was delicious and fresh. They have a variety of seafood, mexican, and salvadorian food. I would definetly recommend this place.

Do Not Eat Here. They recycle the shrimp cocktail and God knows what else. I received my large shrip cocktail with large bits of a soggy cracker at the bottom of the glass. This had obviously been someone elses. Disgusting!!! The waitress was apologetic but did not seem surprised with what I'd found. Do not eat there.

great eats. the fish and shrimp platter is a really great value, plus very tastey. the shrimp are about four bites big each. and if shrimp is a favorite of your's try the shrimp cocktail. every spoonful will certainly dig out a shrimp.
