I would recommend using the same stylist (If they could keep one there for any length of time.) I would also expect prices that are the same as those listed on the website; however they are not. rather deceptive. I wanted to use a coupon but when they couldn't schedule me within the time frame for which the coupon was valid; then they should still honor the coupon. Five days expired is not a long time, and I was loyal enough to wait for "someone to be trained". Also it was far too pricey for having to have a new stylist each and every time! I would recommend going to a salon with more consistency and more client consideration.

Would recommend to friends!. I love the haircut even though its only half way there to the look I wanted b/c the hairstyle I had before at another place was way too short and textured that I had to grown it out for two months. But Ryan fixed my hair the way I expected and gave me a bangs that I really like! Its simple and pretty. I am willing to go him from now on! And would recommend my asian friends to go there cuz typically I only go to asian salon and there is not one good in SA! Thanks alot!

Knowledgeable Staff, Great Customer Service, All Around Perfectly Satisfied. I have had nothing but great experiences with Bangz, particularly Ryan, but also with Elizar in his role as owner and manager. I first went to Bangz after getting a haircut I despised at another salon. Ryan and Elizar both looked at it and honestly told me that it was technically a good haircut .. but they could tell I hated it, so Ryan worked with me to fix it up to where I was happy. Thank you for that, Ryan! The original cut from the other salon was hands down the worst I have EVER felt about my hair, and he turned it into something that I loved.

A second noteworthy experience came during a different visit .. I could tell that Ryan was busy that day, so when he said he was done with me, I said OK and left, even though it wasn't exactly as I wanted it. After about a day, I figured I'd just call and see if they could help me out. They were great -- they got me in that day for him to finish the cut, and they DIDN'T charge me for it (unlike the two posters who said they were told they had to pay for it). I actually figured I would have to pay, but the receptionist (whose name I'm blanking on, but I think she's Ryan's sister) was like, "Of course not!"

Elizar seems to run a great business -- I like that every time I go in, he's visible. He's definitely not an owner/manager in name only; he's out there on the floor, working on customers or making suggestions to the other stylists. Ryan is the stylist I use when I go; I couldn't say enough good things about him if I tried. He's personable, he's knowledgeable, and he listens. The two experiences I've discussed above have made me trust Ryan and trust Bangz as a salon. Frankly, I'm shocked and pretty disbelieving of the two negative reviews as they sound 100% opposite from the treatment I've personally experienced at Bangz or the treatment of other customers I have witnessed while there.

Finally .. compared to other Aveda salons I've been to, this one is very reasonably priced! Ryan's a steal!

Don't even get me started.... This place has a beautiful website (which interested me first), a modern salon design, and is located in a nice neighborhood. I had nothing to fear, or so it seemed. I had highlights in my hair that i was trying to remove, i just wanted my dark brown hair back. Doesn't sound all that difficult, right? Tell that to the stylist Amanda. I showed her pictures of how dark i wante dthe brown to be, and she reassured me that i would be taken care of. Two hours later, I'm looking at a "red-purply" kind of auburn mess...I wanted to cry. She could see the dissapointment in my face. She offered to use a hair-dryer to get my hair straight, but told me that flat ironing it would be an extra 30 dollars...one of the owners of the place - the gentleman- was scolding her with his eyes for her even offering me the hair- dryer straightening. The woman at the front desk was very polite, and she asked me if everything was the way I wanted, even though she could already tell otherwise. She gave me a call back the next day, saying that she could tell that I wasn't satisfied with the work and wanted me to come back in to fix it. I go back, and the same girl was going to touch my hair. She tells me that she could do a ash brown for free, but for the dye job that would actually "fix" the redness problem, it was going to cost. Are you kidding me? She saw how that upsety me and went to talk to her boss again. She comes back out to tell me that they'll allow such a ting "this time" - like that is not common practice to fix the hair you ruined. Needless to say, I will never return to "Bangz".

Amanda rocks!. I decided spur-of-the-moment that I needed a new style and called up Bangz, got an appointment the same day with Amanda. I've never been there before, so I wasn't sure what to expect but I had a great experience. My problem was my hair was too heavy & long, I wanted to keep the length but have it feel lighter and more modern, and have some lighter bangs. That's pretty much all I told Amanda, and told her to do what she thought was best. I ended up with my best haircut I've ever had, and I've received so many compliments on it since. I'm going back to her for sure.

People with Talent!. I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone. I went to JD & Victor's Salon which I would not advise anyone to go to EVER - I don't care how desperate you are. JD cut my hair or should I say "butchered" my hair - that seems more appropriate. I ended up at this salon and they fixed my hair which was not an easy task. I ended up having to basically pick a hair style of a very, very short nature because of JD the Butcher. They not only fixed my hair but stayed late on a Saturday to do so. I loved the outcome - I started a new job today and was able to come to work with a nice hair cut; although, I don't feel this is my style - it is a great cut. I plan on continuing with this salon. I would definitely recommend it.

Would Not Advise Coming Here. After reading the reviews, I was willing to give the salon a try. I only use Aveda products on my hair and so when I found this salon near my house I was thrilled. However, I was not pleased with my experience. First the person doing my hair made me feel like I didnt belong in the salon. Secondly, he made me feel horrible about my hair, he was telling me that he is not responsible for the end results because I had my hair cut somewhere else..what does that matter ( I was getting roots done)? He sped through the whole coloring process and in the end my hair came out TWO colors! You could see where my roots where not properly dyed. I even asked him if he thought he did a good job and he said he could have left my color on for longer. Instead of discounting the price because of his horrible job, he made me pay full price!! It was a waste of money! I would not recommend this place.

If you will call us back we will work very hard to make it right and you happy. My concern was not your hair cut but, the condition of your hair. The condition of anyones hair will be the final factor in the end result. From the information here I can not find you in our system. I hope when you make an error, someone give you a chance to make it right instead of being know for that error and not all the good things you have done.

Execution and Excellence!!. All women have an idea of what, they think, is the best hair color for them. The stylist at Bangz will amuze you and then comfort and guide you into reality. We can't all be blondes and if you want to be a brunette, you can not say you don't want red in your hair. Brown and red go hand in hand. Same color scheme. I found that out after saying that remark. They assured me I would like my color, and after the hair wash, I saw brown, NOT red! This was the best treatment I received from an aveda salon and at a reasonable price. Eleazar, Ryan, and Brandy are an excellent team.

Great Salon. A great atmosphere and great stylists! It was my first time at the salon and I look forward to getting back there for another haircut!
