If I was looking for a Uniform I would have joined the Army! Everything is the same, The Crown's are especially over-priced and cheap construction.
Worst place ever.. They just break your heart.... The worst service ever.. If any of you, brides to be,go there, FYI don't let them get you all excited about ringing the bell & announce that you picked the dress, till they check that they have the dress in stock. We went there & picked a dress & find out, while the rest of the wedding party was getting fitted that they, didn't have the dress. They just crush my poor sister's heart. After we announce that we had picked out the dress. And the bad thing the sale person was trying to past the blame on us? When it's their job to make sure before announcing that you picked the dress. This location is not worth going to, sales personnel don't take the time to help you out & then blame you for not checking the system to see if they have the dress. As for the manager clueless.. This place is a joke.. Don't have your heart broken with disappointment... People beware Who ever gets Michelle she is clueless, she don't know how to check the system..
Dirty and VERY unprofessional. My first appointment went OK, left feeling pressured to buy a dress I liked, but stood firm in letting them know I wanted my family to see it on me first. When trying to make my 2nd appt. I sat on hold for 15mins and went back and fourth with the woman trying to make me an appt. When I arrived on time to my appt. the next day, my consultant did not know I was coming, nor was I written down in the appointment book. My consultant was not dressed professionally and had horrible breath! She should not be in the field of selling wedding dresses. I used the truck stop bathroom, as they like to call the ladies room. Ive been in gas stations with cleaner bathrooms! The dresses were dirty and dingy with bead work falling off almost all the dresses I tried on. The 4 family members that went with me had to stand the entire time because you are NOT allowed to move chairs around in the store! Would NOT reccomend this store to ANYONE! I could write a whole lot more about my bad experience but it's not worth my time.
nah, not buying my dress here.. My mom and I wandered in here on a tuesday afternoon. They were not busy at all, but it took 30 min to get a consultant to let us try on dresses. Some of the dresses were ok, but the fabric was not as great as I would have liked. You get what you pay for when you buy a dress here. As the appointment came to a close I was being pressured by the manager and my sales person to put money down on a dress, even though I didnt find "the one." My mom and I left and I am never going back!
customer service issues. the 1st time i went looking...and only looking...the consultant was really upbeat and helpful. once i told her i was just looking right now, her attitude completely changed. didnt have that spark anymore and refused to give me the style numbers of the dresses i looked at. she was never mean, but u just do not treat customers like that. honestly, i had the money to buy if i found the dress. but its things like that that turn you off. its your special day and you want everyone around you to help u feel that way.
Would not go again.
Firstly there was only one staff member was very helpful.
Secondly, After I bought a dress there I wasn't treated with the same attention as before, I was left alone to look things I needed. ( And I mean walking around in my dress)
Thirdly, alteration charged me for things I did not ask for or things I did not need done. (I did receive a refund however after tracking down someone)
Fourthly, alteration did a short cut job on my dress it was hemmed incorrectly and had scrunched fabric in an attempt to do two layers of work at once at the knee. ( I sew and alter myself and felt the work to be poor and rushed.) I had to fix it myself.
The only thing good I have to say is my sister doesn't plan to get her wedding dress there because of the things they did to me.
Wedding dress hunting ground for real-world brides on a budget. Princesses need not apply..
In Short
A chic, sleek boutique, it's not. But those willing to look carefully will likely find a big-time bargain. The staff is helpful and knows the merchandise but doesn't provide extensive one-on-one attention or advice. Stores (particularly on weekends) can be swamped with brides-to-be. David's specializes in beaded satin A-lines and simple lace sheaths that just hit the $500 mark. Most labels are tasteful but of medium-quality: Gloria Vanderbilt, Lady Eleanor, Oleg Cassini and the likes.
