Black Friday Scam!. I used to love Target until Black Friday. On Black Friday, my wife waited outside for hours to get the deals (the US 281 North location). The TV we wanted was quickly sold out so she grabbed a 40 inch Elements LCD HD TV. We were going to use this as a door prize for my company's Christmas Party. The girl that won the TV was excited and took it home to hook it up. Upon hooking it up, the TV did not work. She told me she would exchange it, so I gave her the receipt and she headed to a different location. There, she was told that Elements are not good and you cannot expect much from the TV's (then why do you sell them??). Then, they only offered her the amount we paid for the TV...and they sold her a 32 inch Samsung TV and MADE HER PAY THE DIFFERENCE. A smaller TV and she had to pay? I realize Samsung is a better brand, but really? They couldn't have AT THE VERY LEAST EATEN THE DIFFERENCE OR AT MOST, OFFERED A TV OF THE SAME SIZE?? This is absolutely ridiculous and shows that their Black Friday sales are a bad business gimmick to suck in extra money (and it worked, we spent $800 that night). I hope the $800 was worth it, because by my estimates we spent approximately $3,000 at Target this year alone and we now won't be going back.
