best steakhouse in sa. Texas Land and Cattle has been my favorite restaurant by far for about a year now. The steak is never dis-satifying. Always cooked to perfection, moist, and the sides are delicious as well.
Texas Land and Cattle Steakhouse. Get here early...parking gets tight. Also, if you want to get an order of their speical, its another good reason to be there early. All steaks that I have had here are fantastic, tender and flavorful. Also have an incredible steak and vegetable soup, great bread and wonderful beers. On the pricey side but in my opinion well worth it.

Anyone who eats along the lines of TXLC's gargantuan portions on a daily basis may not be around for long. Once in a blue moon is often enough, at least for this cowgirl, to stuff her face with the hardy fare of thick sirloins, ribeyes and filets--all of which can be ordered with four plump shrimp, considered a mere garnish by the real meat lovers who populate these tables.
The dining equivalent of the Texas souvenir store or an evening at the Rodeo, TXLC has found the Texas angle and is working it to the hilt. Branding irons and hefty logs decorate the interior; a massive cattle herder mural covers the back wall. Even the menu reflects Lone Star cuisine with noticeable departures from other steakhouse's list of side orders; TXLC will gladly give you enchiladas in place of the standard baked potato. Just remember to bring a big appetite (or a to-go box for the next day's lunch) and leave the vegetarian at home. Yee haw.
Being a meat lover it is hard to find a restaurant that grills meat to perfection. Thank you for offering a place to dine out for excellent meat. Ho! Not to take away from all the other interesting dishes. However the delicious meat is my favorite.
Please bring back the bread pudding.
