Editorial Review for Thai Kitchen Restaurant – by Greg Melikov
In Short
The varied menu attracts professionals during the day and families at night and on busy weekends. Cozy, candlelit tables enhance the artwork and the attractive setting. Among the most popular dishes are pad thai, stir-fried noodles and shrimp, and Tiger Cried--extra-spicy steak salad with steamed rice. Special requests are honored. Those with a taste for heat should try the chicken red curry; an assortment of beer and wine will put the fire out.

Thai Kitchen is the best thai restaurant i've tried in San Antonio. My family and I used to eat here during visits into San Antonio. I reccomend ordering from the menu rather than the buffet to capture the freshness of the food that they serve. It would be nice if they didn't close in between lunch and dinner - plan accordingly if you are going to visit. The staff is incredibly friendly and service is good. What truly sets this thai restaraunt from the rest is the food - simply delicious.
Pros: THE FOOD
Cons: Closes after Lunch, Reopens at Dinner

I visit San Antonio for business quite often, and based on the reviews I read here, I decided to check out this restaurant. The last couple of times I visited I found the restaurant unexpectedly closed; they seem to have reopened, but based on my experience tonight, perhaps they should have stayed closed! The three ladies working there tonight seemed to have no clue on how to run a restaurant; my friend and I were seated, and they brought us drinks, but after 30 minutes nobody had taken our order -- and the restaurant was only 1/3 full. We finally paid for our drinks (at the bar) and left; the staff acted like they could have cared less. It seemed like almost everyone else was waiting for their food. Do yourself a favor -- go somewhere else.
Pros: None
Cons: Horrible service, Slow kitchen
