best pilates club. I think that the rating for pilates at the concord athletic club, is very accurate. I take pilates and it is the very best pilates class that I have ever taken. The teacher, Caroline is wonderful. She is very precise, and instructive.....very patient and very knowledgeable. The result is a client that gets a fantastic workout which includes strenthening and lenghtening of the muscles and focusing on the core muscles for better health and posture. I enjoy it immensly! way to go Caroline!! and Concord !!!

The Concord is a 65,000-square-foot, four-story gym with a country-club atmosphere. Local celebs, Spurs, power professionals and soccer moms have an incredible array of fitness amenities at their disposal: cardiovascular and strength equipment, an indoor training track, racquetball and squash facilities, an indoor swimming pool, and a regulation basketball court.

It Does a Body Good
Ninety weekly activities and programs for both beginners and serious athletes include aerobics, yoga, spinning, aqua fitness, kickboxing and conditioning. Group exercise programs include cardio groove, salsa, pilates and boot camp.

Spoils of the Pay
In addition to a hefty initiation cost, individual members pay a $100 monthly fee. The rate includes many conveniences that cater to pampered gym rats, like whirlpools, saunas and steamrooms. You'll wonder how you ever got by without warm towels, keyed lockers and disposable razors.
