B & B Smokehouse in South San Antonio. I've been to B&B twice...first time, the brisket was very good. Second time, I took my husband and we placed orders to go. My husband ordered a burger with onion rings instead of fries; I ordered the Ranch plate (2 meats w/ 2 sides). My husband got fries instead of onion rings and the chicken on my plate priced $6.49, was small, scrawny and over cooked. The taste was just so-so. To be fair, though, the potato salad and creamed corn was very good. The cashier was nice, as well. I will go back, but I don't think I will order to go,or if I do, I'm not leaving until I search my order to make sure it's correct. Too bad we have to resort to these measures, this shouldn't be our job!

B&B Smokehouse Not Worth It. I work close to this restaurant and although I have heard good things about the food. I have yet to have a good experience. The customer service turns me and my co-workers away each time. We try to place orders as a group since we cannot leave the office all together and they are rude in person, thru the drive thru and even on the phone when only one of us can go to retrieve lunch. I would not recommend this place at all. If there were better customer service I would be happy to pay the $8 dollars they charge for just a salad.

Great place to relax & have a GREAT meal!. I have been going to eat @ B&BS for years & the BBQ is the best I have ever had!!! Everything is sooo delicious! From the Chicken Chef salads to the Brisket & Pork Ribs! If you have a sweet tooth you have to try the Peach Cobbler! DELICIOUS!!!!

SUPERIOR BBQ THE BEST IN SAN ANTONIO. THEY DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO MAKE YOUR VISIT A WONDERFUL DINING EXPERIENCE. I HAVE KNOWN THEM FOR 20 PLUS YEARS. WE HAVE NEVER EVER HAD BAD FOOD OR BAD SERVICE. THEY ARE AWESOME. YOU MUST TRY THEM YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY. BRUCE IS THE BEST!!!!

Awesome friggin' bar-b-que!!!!!!!!!. The place has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great tasting food! The chicken is always perfectly moist, the ribs fall off the bone, and the salads are HUGE!!! I have been eating here for years and I will always come back for more.

BEST BARBEQUE IN SAN ANTONIO!!. Great dining exprience. Very nice people. Cozy and homey enviroment. The food was delicious and quite filling. You certainly get your money's worth! The BBQ sauce is so good, I would buy it if they sold it by the bottle.

Absolut Best in SA. This old place is a Southside landmark. I have been going for years. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect cooked brisket, you can get it "marbled" (sliced with a little fat on it),-- the way I like it-- or they will slice it lean. Anyway you get it, the brisket is great. Chicken is super moist and perfect. Pork ribs are moist and very meaty, my favorite is combo plate is the Chicken and Porkrib. Poor Boys are excellent, as are the side orders, which are handmade. I could go on and on. They also have great burgers and the best salads, at a BBQ place? Did I mention the friendly staff?

BEST BAR-B-QUE IN TOWN!. Once you try this bar-b-que, it won't be the last. They have a good choice of food and it's fast service done right. Some bar-b-que places that I've tried are greasy and take for ever to come out after you order, but NOT B&B smoke house. It's an excellent choice for a bar-b-que fix. Believe me when I say it's worth the spend if your in the mood for some real good tasting bar-b-que.

Worst B-Que in San Antonio. I have tried B-B Que on and off during the last 3 years, each time it has

become a greater and greater disappointment . I have never had a take-out

meal that was so bad that it made me and my family sick. The meat was

obviously old and under cooked. It had been over a year since my last visit

and had hoped that it had improved but I was out an expensive meal and

a sleepless night from nausea from my most recent visit (09.15.08).
