This is the worst company I have ever
dealt with. After having the windshield replaced, it leaked and not just a little. It leaked terribly. Water was just standing in the floor. I cleaned this up and contacted them. Bring it in we were told, so we did. They "fixed" the leak. In the process mold had started under the carpet in the spray on insulation, it held moisture that I couldn't get out. Once I noticed the smell, I tore out all of the foam insulation with mold and replaced it myself.
After the very next rain, water in the floor again. Took it to them again. They "fixed" it again. I replaced the insulation again myself because they refused.
When the next rain came, it filled up with water again. I called again, they blamed it on the sunroof. Rick personally told me "I replaced that windshield with a brand new one the last time it was in." I said "that's funny because the rock chip that was there before we brought it to you the last time is still there." Rick said, "oh, I must have you confused with someone else. Bring it in and I will replace the windshield with a brand new one this time for your trouble." When my wife took it in and they repaired it now for the fourth time, it was the same windshield. Rick told her I said I would replace it if we broke it taking it out. What? Of course you would, but that isn't what you said.
Anyway, Rick offered to have the car detailed for our trouble. His employee's are witness to this. He said take it to wash tub, have it detailed and I will pay for it. So we did, wash tub wouldn't take credit cards over the phone, so Rick told my wife, just bring me the receipt and I will reimburse you. My wife asked, so you're saying if I bring the receipt you'll reimburse me, do I have your word on that? Rick said, "oh yes, Mrs. you do." When my wife hung up, the employee of the wash tub said, "I'm your witness on that. I heard that he stated he will pay for it." Apprehensively, we did as instructed. Just as I had feared, he refused to reimburse us on the detailing.
But all the damage to the vehicle, and repetitively lying to us isn't even the worse of it. When discussing the detailing with my wife and refusing to pay, he decided to become irritated and started yelling at her. She tries telling him that he actually is liable for a lot more, like replacing the carpet. He said he is not liable for that. He also told her that "even if I pay you're just going to go on the internet and blast my company so I'm not paying anything. Take me to court if you want." Actually, we had no intention of either we just wanted the car fixed, and had that happened I wouldn't be here typing this, but because of his constant lying and never taking responsibility, that is exactly what we are going to do.
Rick claims his mother in law is the owner, throughout this process, we had requested numerous times to speak with the owner, every time Rick refused to give us contact information for her. After searching the web, it states that Rick is the owner/general manager. Another lie in a string of them.
Rick has no idea how to treat people, how to be responsible for his companies work, or how to tell the truth on pretty much anything. He has no business running a business and certainly deserves no customers. What he doesn't realize is that if his company would do good work and he would stand behind his work, he would get repeat business. Clients would tell others about the company and it would grow. Instead he precedes to do none of the good business practices mentioned.
Do NOT use this company under any circumstance. They deserve to be put out of business by others who stand behind their work and treat their customers fairly.
Bad experience... Price was easily the best around. The technician was about 30 minutes late, which wouldn't be that bad except that they give you a 5 hour window, so that was a little annoying. He worked very quickly and had the job done in about half the time I expected (30ish minutes to replace a side window), vaccuumed all the glass and cleaned up after himself. After he was done and I was paying, he tells me that my window regulator is broken so I shouldn't open or close it until that's fixed... I've never had any issues with the window before, so that worried me, but he made it sound very minor and left before I could test it. When I did, the window would go down fine, but would only close about halfway and way to the side unless I guided it up with my hand. There's no way this was a preexisting issue. Supposedly the work is warrantied, so I'm in the process of seeing if they'll take care of it, but I'll have to drive all the way across town if they agree to fix it. I was going to get my windshield replaced as well, but now... I'm not sure the lower price is worth it. UPDATE: So far the manager hasn't returned any of my calls.

The guy who installed the windshield damaged the windshield trim. I can hear whining noise at 30~50MPH. From existing reviews, another guy had similar issue with alamo auto glass. How many windshield trims do they have to break before they know how to do their job.
Their price was reasonable. That is why I gave them one star. I will call them but I do not expect them to do anything helpful.

The guy who replaced the windshield broke at least one clip on right side molding. Today, I found out that he also broke at least one clip on the windshield cowl and the cowl is warped. The parts will cost at least $300. I am wondering how can a company like this stay in this business.
I called alamo auto glass 3 times so far. Every time, the lady promised me somebody will call me back. But it never happened. They already got what they want (the money). They are not interested in doing anything after the money is in their hand.
I am going to small claim court for this damage.
If you placed an order with alamo auto glass, please save yourself some grief and cancel it at all cost.

I ordered all the parts and replaced the damaged parts by myself. Many clips and tabs were broken. Only an idiot can do such massive destructive job.
I have sent a letter to the owner of this company demanding the compensation. If they do not pay in 2 weeks, I will go to small claim court.
Worst customer service ever!. This company is very unreliable, initially I purchased a vehicle from a dealership and had to wait 4 days before they would fix the windshield and I had to take it to them, they were so fast and surprise surprise it leaked. They did come to my home three days later (I live 30 min outside San Antonio) and wasted all day waiting but they tried to fix it, again they are ssssooooooooooooo fast the windshield still leaked, so I try one last time and again was kept waiting all day even when I was promised a first thing in the morning appointment so I gave them a call and refused to come fix it at my home. Now they want me to go back into San Antonio without compensating me in ANY way and take it to their shop but wait to top it off the Manager Rick was so rude and talked down to me with the attitude take it or leave it!!! So I left it and will tell EVERYONE that will listen so that they don't have to go thru what I did. This company SUCKS BALLS, no HARRY BALLS stay clear if you want things done right and be treated like a human being.
Fast, reliable, courteous, great price. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs an automotive glass repaired. They were fast, they called to let me know when they were on their way and I love the fact that they come to you!! And the price was unbeatable.
