What garbage !!! $9.00 for 2 PIECES of pie and then the counter girl asked if we wanted em in a bag. really ? No just schmear em on my shirt. Marie's used to be the best place for pie. Not any more. Very sad. Just close it up now. Bad Bad Bad !!!

Insect particles in Pie. Picked up a Lemon Merinque pie from the Callaghan location. Sliced the pie and found some sort of small black bug in the lemon cream. Dug around a bit, and found another black speck. Nasty ! Called the restaurant and spoke to Lisa (Mgr.) she apologized, told me to return to restaurant. Unable to at this time, I live across town, plus have other priorities. Guess on the positive side, it ruined my appetite for their Lemon pies. <sighs>

Okay Food, Nothing Special. I have been disappointed with Marie's now for a long time. Their prices are going up and the portions are getting smaller. I always love roast and it is simplier going out than cooking for one but at Maries's it has been bad. The was hardly any roast, mostly steam veggies and what roast I got was dry and fatty. Totally yuck. Marie's is also famous for their pies and I love peach pie...it was terrible. The crust was too thick, there was hardly any peach and itnwas so sweet it was inedible. It has been a miss with this place. The food is average, the salad bar is messy, the service is slow but friendly, so for me if I am looking for a home cooked meal, I'll do it myself at home and save the money.
