The Show
Together in radio for 18 years, Kris Winston and Alyce Ian have been entertaining listeners on San Antonio's premier country station. Winston's "Real People" stories--anecdotes are about real people who get caught or get away with doing the ridiculous things--are a humorous way to start the day. (Example: A man sued the military for a heart condition caused by drinking too much beer. He claimed that he'd been encouraged to overindulge because he was stationed in remote places where they sold cheap beer.)
The Fans
Listeners of all ages enjoy the humorous tidbits mixed in the music. The show airs from 5:30am to 10am weekdays, and you don't have to turn off the radio to get the kids ready in the morning: Everything Winston and Ian say is safe for little ears to hear. Contests are also a big attraction for regular morning listeners, with theme prizes like a "Dixie Chicks automobile" or a "George Strait truck."
