Best BBQ in my life!!!. I can't believe I just found this BBQ restaurant. I am such a BBQ fan and this restaurant has the best BBQ I've ever tasted in my life! Brisket was juicy and Big Smokey, a Giant Sandwich, has the combination of all my favorite meat and tastes AWESOME.

Everybody should come by and try it. You won't regret!

In fact, you will get addicted to it!

Best BBQ in San Antonio. I've lived here all of my life and tried it all and I think that Bob's has the best BBQ in town!! I would suggest everything with the exception of the chicken (it was a little dry). Go and enjoy this hidden gem on Fredericksburg road.

Nothing fancy, just good old-fashioned barbecue.. The Scene
Bob's Smokehouse treats customers like family. With wooden walls, paper plates and a counter to place and pick up orders, this barbecue pit looks the part of a rural smokehouse despite its strip mall location. Bob's serious attitude toward barbecue is evident by the savory smell of smoked meat filling the restaurant.

The Food
In a state known for barbecue, Bob's Smokehouse is a cut above. Tangy sauce soaks into the tender, slow-smoked meat to create an intense taste far more powerful than your usual barbecue. The plump sausage bursts, the beef disintegrates, and the pork slips off the bone. In fact, you can eat the entire meal with only a plastic fork. Don't worry that the beans and slaw are mediocre sides, because with meat this good, you'll keep chowing long after your belly is full.
